One of our favorite Danish bands, Alcoholic ..One of our favorite Danish bands, Alcoholic Faith Mission , has put out a new video for “Alaska”. The mid-tempo, brooding jam, focuses on a man whose trying to find himself in an often confused city. Alcoholic Faith Mission - AlaskaDanish band Alcoholic Faith Mission liken their track "Alaska" to states of temptation, depression, and isolation. The voice in in the headit feeds off of these insecurities, so it's appropriate that the band's video for the song features a character who finds himself at odds withhimself! Music Review: Alcoholic Faith Mission - Ask ..Alcoholic Faith Mission Ask Me This [PonyRec; 2012] by Joe Hemmerling Rating: My first exposure to Copenhagen’s Alcoholic Faith Mission came two years ago when a friend of mine became fairly obsessed with the song “ Nut in Your Eye ,” the lead single off the band’s sophomore record 421 Wythe Ave. The song’s title, which would have been a perfect fit for some virulently misogynistic slab of gansta rap, seemed hopelessly at odds with the tender, spacious strains of acoustic guitar and piano that introduced the track.
