Now back and rejuvenated with its original lineup, the band will be releasing its Rise Records debut titled 'In Currents' on Tuesday, July 10. Things have changed for the little underdog band from the farming town of Hammonton, NJ, over the past six years. Purity Ring Announce Tour, New SinglePhotos by Will Deitz On July 24, Purity Ring will release their debut full-length Shrines via 4AD / Last Gang , and the band has now announced a headlining North American tour in support of the record for August and September. 4AD will also release a 12" single for "Belispeak" , which we heard last fall, on May 29. Condre Scr Are GeniusI have been listening to this album for months and thought Id already posted about, but alas this has not been the case. I love me some ace post-rock, yet new good stuff can be hard to find. You Are Genius , German band Condre Scr's 2nd LP (and 1st in six years!), certainly isn't anything new - in fact for the majority of its playing time the album could be outtakes from the early days of Scottish gods Mogwai.
