Breaking Benjamin Prepare Greatest Hits Albu ..Hollywood Records has announced a Greatest Hits collection titled Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin from their multi-platinum rock band BREAKING BENJAMIN to be released on August 16, 2011. The two-disc release will feature the band’s chart-topping hits including “Breath,” “So Cold,” “Sooner Or Later,” “The Diary of Jane” and “I Will Not Bow,” as well as an entire disc of rare recordings including never-before-released songs, live performances, rare acoustic recordings and remixes. A remixed version of “Blow Me Away,” the lead track from the two-disc set, features the soaring vocals of Syd Duran of the band Valora ...Baxojayz13 July 2011

Great Show Coming Up in Downtown Davis!Saturday January 29, Sophia's Thai Kitchen is putting on a great show at the Odd Fellows Hall in downtown Davis (click for map). The show is $10 in advance, or $12 at the door. The show starts at 8pm and features three awesome bands. Geographer are an electro/indie group from San Francisco. Their songs range between synth-pop and synth-folk, but there are always great hooks. Kites - Geographer Lord Huron hail from LA, and make upbeat, cinematic music inspired by African/Caribbean rhythms.
