News: Triple J Reveals ‘Second’ Hottest 100 ..In the lead-up to triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown on Australia Day, eventual list topper Gotye revealed how he’d like to see Godley & Creme-inspired album track ‘State of The Art’ make the cut. It didn’t, of course, but we can now reveal how close it actually came thanks to a list of the Hottest 100 also-rans (picks 101-200) published by triple j today. Who Charted? Adele's Stranglehold on No. 1 R ..First! It's a new year, but the same album sits atop the charts. Adele's 21 entered its 15th week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 copies sold, per Nielsen SoundScan. The mark puts the British singer one week away from matching the record of 16 weeks at the top of the charts, set by Titanic in 1998, and given the slow trickle of releases yesterday, she'll probably do just that. Adele makes it 15 weeks at No. 1 on album sa ..Adele’s “21” moved 124,000 copies last week (-14%), enough for another week at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart.
