Green Day Re-Record '21 Guns'

American punk superstars Green Day have confirmed plans to re-record their single '21 Guns'. Green Day have long since surpassed their punk roots. The band are now capable of churning out concept albums in the blink of an eye, with their latest effort '21st Century Breakdown' being an ambitious three part opus.

However the group have moved beyond this and into the world of theatre. 2004's 'American Idiot' saw Green Day blast back with a hugely successful new album which has now been turned into a musical. Opening in California earlier this year, the 'American Idiot' musical split critics.

The band themselves claimed that they didn't care about the critical reception, with fans flocking to see the show. The musical ....
