Green Day Cover Classic Rock's Best at Last Tour Stop

Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News " Led Zeppelin at the Forum right now," Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong quipped as his band played a snippet of Zep's 'Thank You.' Okay, not even Green Day could deliver the mighty Zep, but that was about all they didn't do during at the L.A. Forum gig that wrapped up the band's current North American tour. After walking through the crowd from the back of the general admission floor to the stage, Armstrong warned the audience, "This is our last show of our tour tonight and we're gonna play all f---ing night." Turns out he wasn't kidding as Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, Tre Cool and friends rocked a stunning two hours and ....
